Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered DLC Revealed?
Raven Software has added six new maps and two new game modes since the release of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered project on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The new maps include Bloc, Countdown, Showdown, Strike, Pipeline and Wet Work. The new game modes include Gun Game and Hardpoint, which debuted in Black Ops and Black Ops 2.
The development team have also confirmed that this will be just the start of a new range of content coming to Modern Warfare Remastered, although what comes next has not yet been revealed Officially.
A group of dataminers believe they have found what new maps maybe added to the game in a new content pack.
It’s claimed that the maps of Creek, Chinatown, Broadcast and Killhouse maps, from the original Modern Warfare’s Variety Map Pack DLC on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, will be part of the offering.
The same team of dataminers also claim that new weapon skins have also been found, which could see players able to wield a hatchet, sickle or sword.
Raven Software confirmed back during Call of Duty XP that there was a good chance new content was being work on for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
Director, David Pellas commented on the subject of new content: “We’re are not announcing any new content.”
“The plans is not just to launch a great game in November, the six additional maps for everyone who bought it, we’ve been sitting on that announcement for a while now.
“We have full intention of supporting this game for quite sometime. What form does that support come in? I think fans are going to be really excited about some of the things that we’ve got kicking around at Raven.
“I can’t announce anything yet but that’s the next thing I’m chomping at the bit to talk about.
Asked if fans shouldn’t be shocked if they heard something in the future on the subject, in which Pellas replied: “I think they should count on something being announced in the future!
