Gamers can craft new Prototype versions of the base weapons they unlock using “Salvage Points”, a new in-game currency that can be earned different ways. Once gamers unlock the base version of a weapon, they can put their salvage points towards unlocking better versions of it. Gamers can craft four different prototypes, COMMON, RARE, LEGENDARY, and EPIC. Each tier includes its own combination of special perks, with the EPIC weapons having the most wanted perks. These prototypes will give gamers new ways to customize their loadouts to their playstyle, giving them more options to dominate the battlefield.
How to get Salvage Points
You’re going to need plaenty of Salvage Points saved up if you want to be able to craft plenty of items. Salvage Points can be earned several different ways, all in which require you to simply play the game. Salvage Points can be earned through ranking up in specific Mission Team Missions that you’re enlisted in, and through Supply Drops. Of course there’s burning duplicates when you open the Supply Drops. There’s always a chance to earn Salvage Points through the daily login bonuses, make sure you sign in every day and play a few matches to gain new Salvage Points.
Even though the new crafting system will open up new and different ways for Call of Duty gamers to customize their weapons to they way they playstyle is, and allow them to take more control in the battlefield.
